QuiltLoop is a community and organization service for quilters. This policy explains the information we collect, how we use it, and the choices available to you.
Information we collect
When you create an account, we may collect your name, email address, account identifiers, and information you choose to add to QuiltLoop, such as projects, project photos, groups, group photos, messages, saved supplies, and links.
If you purchase Premium, payment information is processed by Stripe. QuiltLoop does not store your full payment-card number.
How we use information
- Provide and operate your QuiltLoop account and community features.
- Authenticate users and maintain account security.
- Process and manage Premium memberships.
- Display content you choose to share in groups or community areas.
- Respond to support requests and maintain the service.
Service providers
QuiltLoop uses service providers to operate the site, including Supabase for account, database, and file-storage services; Stripe for subscription payments and billing management; Netlify for website hosting; and email infrastructure used for account-related messages.
Sharing and visibility
We do not sell your personal information. Content you post in community areas may be visible to other QuiltLoop members according to the feature and group settings you choose.
Data retention and deletion
We retain account information while your account is active and as reasonably necessary to operate the service, comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce agreements. You may contact us to request account or personal-data deletion, subject to applicable legal requirements.
Your choices
You may update information you submit to QuiltLoop, stop using the service, cancel a Premium subscription through the subscription-management option, or contact us with a privacy request.
Children
QuiltLoop is not intended for children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.
Security
We use reasonable administrative and technical safeguards, but no online service can guarantee absolute security.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy as QuiltLoop changes. We will post the revised policy with a new effective date.
